Parties. I can never quite decide if they're worth my time or not. Lots of stress before you go. Exhaustion after. Heck of a good time while you're there. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay till midnight or after as I was invited due to my inability to get into bed, but definitely had a good time while I was there.
The lack of girlish drama was pretty jawdropping. Never have I been in a group of girls over 3 for 4 hours with no drama. Astonishing, yes? If you're not stunned then you obviously aren't familiar with the girls of today.
I spent the majority of my day leading up to the party parked in front of the TV, watching House MD, and praying that I never contract any of those diseases. I was already a hypochondriac, add some medical knowledge to it and I'm a mess. Nevertheless, I plan to spend the rest of my life learning more, hopefully working in a hospital setting, and with any luck House will have given me the rhetorical skills I need to make myself proud.
Now I'm home with my family, watching cheesy hosts waste their time narrating something that needs no narration. Still, here I sit, currently watching a performer who I would never watch any other time of the year and enoying myself. Isn't that what New Year's Eve is all about?
Happy New Year to everyone, I hope this coming year brings you love, happiness, and good health.
